The Children’s Hospital Trust is a non-profit organisation that raises funds to support the advancement of child healthcare across the Western Cape and the Continent.  Working in partnership with the Western Cape Department of Health and health facilities and UCT Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, the Trust has invested over R1 billion towards improving public health infrastructure, training specialist paediatric health workers, and enabling the establishment of child public health programmes, both within the RCCWMH and across Western Cape district health services.

Having contributed immense resources to the benefit of thousands of children nationwide, The Children’s Hospital Trust now intends on bolstering their message through new marketing campaigns and digital infrastructure. That’s where you come in, as their new Digital Marketing Specialist. You will develop and drive effective online marketing and fundraising strategies including managing our website, social media platforms, digital mailers, SMS campaigns, generate reports and analytics that can track our conversion rates that support fundraising and brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Digital diploma OR similar qualification 

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on pro-bono and paid marketing campaigns and ad platforms.

• Experience of working in a sale, nonprofit or fundraising environment will be an added advantage. 

• Strong knowledge of digital resources, marketing tools and audio-visual content creation for various social media platforms.

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong propensity for teamwork and collaboration at various levels within the organisation.

• Project-focused, with impeccable time-management skills.
